How do I change the administrative username or password of TP-LINK Wireless Routers?

Step 1 Log into the router’s web interface.

Here we take TL-WR1043ND as example.

Step 2 Click on System Tools->Password on the left side, then you can change the router’s username and password on this page.

Step 3 Click Save, then system will prompt you to log in the page by your new username and password.

Note: Do not forget the new username and password. If you forgot them, you need to reset the router to factory default setting.
